In the Far Eastern Federal University 15 new areas of training for young specialists and masters will be implemented in the new academic year.

Two years later FEFU will graduate masters for the first time, including such areas as "robotics", "applied mathematics", "geology", "Applied Hydrometeorology" and "high-tech production of functional foods". 

Also, since this year the history of medical education programme has begun in the Far Eastern Federal University. School of Biomedical of FEFU successfully gained three new freshmen majoring in "Pharmacy", "medical biophysics" and "medical biochemistry". The launch of these new areas is inextricably linked with the opening of Medical Center of FEFU.
