Spleen Band to Give Free Concert in St. Petersburg

The Petersburg band Spleen is going to give a free concert in the Palace Square of St. Petersburg on September 21.

The gig will start at 8 pm.

The date of birth of the Spleen band is May 27, 1994 — on this day musicians headed by Alexander Vasilyev got together in a restaurant to celebrate the completion of recording their first album. One of the album’s songs based on lyrics by Sasha Cherny prompted the name of the band Spleen.

The band gained the All-Russian popularity in 1998 after the release of its hit Orbit without Sugar. By now the band has released more than 10 studio albums.
