Modern Artists of Bahrain. New Horizons

 The Moscow exhibition Modern Artists of Bahrain. New Horizons presents selected works by five leaders of modern art school: painters, graphic artists and sculptors.

      
The exposition includes over 20 artworks including those provided by the National Bahrain Museum and the authors themselves.

      
The cultural dialogue between the West and the East, and the interest in modern culture of Bahrain has considerably deepened in recent years. Gulf States more and more often participate in international modern art and architecture forums and biennials. Thus, in 2010 Bahrain took the Gold Lion at the Venice Architecture Biennial.

      
The featured artists are Ms. Balqees Fakhroo, Sh. Rashid Al Khalifa, Mr. Abdulrahim Sharif, Mr. Khalil Al Hashemi, and Mr. Ahmed Baqer.

      
The exhibition will run in the Russian Academy of Arts at the address 21, Prechistenka Street, from September 17 to October 16.
