On September 19 the Triumph Gallery in Moscow opens an exhibition of the artist-architect Alexander Brodsky.
The artist is one of the founders of the “paper architecture” trend, a representative of Russia at the Venice Architectural Biennial (2006), the winner of Kandinsky Award (2010) and Innovation Award (2011). Alexander Brodsky is known for his projects at the confluence of architecture and art. His creative interest is focused on the themes of memory, lost time, utopia and ruins.
The exhibition under the title Facades presents Alexander Brodsky's new works made of unburned clay and a large-scale installation to occupy the entire bottom hall of the gallery.
The project continues unfolding the subject of understanding the city architecture as a visual source of reading the history, which is one of the key topics for the artist.
The exhibition will be held till October 20.
