Free Internet Will Pass a Test

Free Wi-Fi zone will start working in Saint Petersburg metro on Tuesday.


A pilot area of the free Wi-Fi network will be available in Saint Petersburg metro. It will appear at the "Park Pobedy" station. The tests will last 1-1.5 weeks, after that the city Information and Communication Committee will take the decision about the possibility of further development of the free wireless Internet .As for today, the residents of Saint Petersburg have the opportunity to use Wi-Fi in a number of trams and buses, including those plying between regions, for example, between Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast.
