Irbit Fair was held in Sverdlovsk Oblast.

Shopping and Entertainment sites were located on the main square of Irbit. The modern Irbit Fair has many problems to solve. One of them is the support and development of handicrafts.

A special free zone called "The City of Masters" was allocated for the Ural craftsmen. It was also very important for the organizers to meet the demand of the city people. For this purpose not only souvenirs, but also basic consumer goods were sold on the fair alleys.

The inter-regional conference "Fair of Fairs" within the frame of Irbit Fair took place for the first time and concentrated on the role of regional trade fairs and exhibitions in the development of tourism in the Great Urals Region and in Sverdlovsk Oblast.
