The Powerhouse Museum opened in Saint Petersburg in August. After a few weeks, several pictures were taken away from the museum, the characters of these were the political leaders Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev, Vitaly Milonov and Elena Mizulina.

These were the works of the artist Konstantin Altunin, including the painting titled "Erotic Dreams of Mizulina". The museum itself is closed now, the room is sealed. The authorities failed to provide any explanation of what happened to the museum personnel.

As the curator of the museum Alexander Donskoy said, the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg Vitaly Milonov visited the museum, registered disapproval and demanded to withdraw the most "disgusting pictures".

The total value of the seized paintings makes up more than $ 1 million.

The museum will be obliged to compensate the artist for the cost of paintings according to his contract.
