The Novosibirsk Zoo has celebrated its 66th birthday. According to the tradition, another holiday – The Day of the Horse is celebrated on the same day. Therefore, the celebration was opened by an unusual beauty contest – the visitors chose the most beautiful horse.

The visitors took part in various competitions; all the participants and winners were awarded with prizes and gifts. Intellectual quizzes and informative contests were organized for the most inquisitive and informed visitors.

The Novosibirsk Zoo constantly enriches its collection of animals. Next year, the zoo plans to obtain a giraffe for free on one of the international exchange programs.
