The beekeeping museum in the open air will open in the Altai Territory in 2014.

It is planned to create a beekeeping museum on the territory of the West Siberian Branch of the Botanical Garden at the Altai State University in Barnaul. Now the staff is looking for all possible artifacts related to bees: honey extractors, beehives and books.

The experts collect historical facts about bees as well. The museum will also open an apiary where the guests will be able to participate in a unique process – to sleep on hives.

Besides, the visitors will be able to purchase the products of Altai beekeepers.
