500 silver coins of the Golden Horde period were discovered by the archaeologists in Astrakhan Oblast.

      The largest treasure in the past decade was found in the museum's archaeological complex “Selitrennoe Cemetery”. 500 silver coins weighing just over 500 g supposedly belong to the second half of the XIV century.

      The majority of the coins are stuck together and strongly deformed.

      All of them will be transferred to the museum.
