Rosneft Claims 2013 Biggest Taxpayer Title

Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin promised the Russian prime minister to snatch the top taxpayer title from Gazprom in 2013, says Vedomosti.

      According to Sechin's statement, the oil giant would deduct RUR 2.6 trillion from its 2013 revenues.

      The world's biggest crude producer is expected to end the year with RUR 439 billion in net profit, he said.

      Gazprom's representatives were not immediately available for comment.
