Experts are developing a feasibility study (FS) to create a regional system of remote sensing satellites in Tomsk. By the end of 2013, the development must be completed, and in 2014-2015, the system is planned to be constructed.

      In May of this year Chairman of the Board of  "Gazprom" Alexey Miller and the governor of Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin signed an agreement on the establishment of the center of remote sensing system of the planet in Tomsk. The system will also be used to monitor industrial facilities of the "Gazprom" and for many other purposes.
