The Moscow Museum of Modern Art in Petrovka Street is opening an exhibition of the Russian non-conformist Igor Vulokh.
Igor Vulokh (1938 — 2012) is a well-known Russian artist, non-conformist of the 1960s, one of the classics of Russian abstractionism.
The exposition presents early works by Vulokh, his legendary White Period, well-known graphic cycles to verses by the poets Gennadiy Aygi and Tomas Tranströmer, as well as a series of the author’s porcelain based on his sketches.
Altogether visitors will see 200 art works by Igor Vulokh.
The exhibition runs from October 16 to November 24.
