The Omsk Philharmonic Hall will be hosting the I International music festival Chamber Orchestras of the World from October 15 to October 20.
The festival program includes concerts of the well-known Trondheim Soloists from Norway and Ferenc Liszt Orchestra from Hungary. Maestro Yury Bashmet will act as the conductor of the Soloists of Moscow chamber ensemble and as the soloist of the Omsk Chamber Orchestra.
The festival will be opened with a concert of the Soloists of Moscow chamber ensemble under conductorship by Yury Bashmet. Compositions by Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Schubert and Gustav Mahler will be performed.
On October 16 Yury Bashmet will play as the soloist in a concert of the Omsk Chamber Orchestra under conductorship by Rustam Dilmukhametov from Novosibirsk.
On October 17 the festival will go on with a performance of the Trondheim Soloists.
The large-scale music forum will be crowned with a concert of the glorified Ferenc Liszt Orchestra from Hungary on October 20. It will perform Mozart's adagio and fugue, Béla Bartok's divertissement, Antonin Dvorak’s string serenade and the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 (transposition for a chamber orchestra) by Liszt and Wolf.
