Orthodox Russia Exhibition to Show Romanovs’ History via Modern Technologies

The annual exhibition Orthodox Russia — for the National Unity Day will be opened in the Manege centre from November 4.

      The exposition will be dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the House of Romanov. Visitors will make a journey through centuries and see with their eyes the history of the dynasty reign. It is now possible by means of modern technologies: 3D - installations and animated collages, touch tables and panels, lightboxes and huge plasma screens.

      Besides the interactive component, paraphernalia of the first and last governors from the Romanovs dynasty will be presented at the exhibition. The wonder-working Feodorovsky Icon of the Mother of God, with which young Mikhail Romanov was blessed for reign by his mother in the 17th century, will be brought from the Kostroma Ipatyev Monastery.

      The exhibition will run till November 12.
