Fountains of St. Petersburg: One-By-One Shutdown

Peterhof fountains will work till October 13. “Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg” completes entire shutdown of the fountains by October 30.

      On October 1, fountain complexes on Moskovskaya and Lenin squares; on October 2, the fountains in Kronstadt, Sestroretsk and Lomonosov have already stopped working. The fountain complex of the State Peterhof Museum Reserve will run until October 13. On October 15 the water will stop sprinkling from the fountain in Yuzhno-Primorsky Park, which was started after an overhaul this year. On October 29, the water will be shut off in the Alexander Garden and in the Kugel Ball at the Malaya Sadovaya Street, and finally on October 30 – at the Kazan Cathedral, on the square outside the Winter Palace and in the garden next to the Palace of Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich on Pisarev Street.
