Traditional Chinese Toys to be Displayed in Moscow

November 2, 2013 will see the opening of the exhibition of traditional Chinese toys from the China National Art Museum’s collection in the New Manege exhibition hall.

The exposition to be held in the framework of the Year of Chinese Tourism in Russia will present over 200 items, among them toys for children of all ages — from babies to teenagers. The exhibition will run till January 12, 2014.

In 2012 the exhibition of traditional Chinese toys took place in Beijing and after its success in the motherland the curators made the decision to demonstrate it in other countries as well. It is for the first time that Chinese folk art will be exhibited on such a large scale in Moscow.
