Vladimir Sorokin's New Novel Telluria Goes Out

Telluria – a new novel by the famous Russian writer Vladimir Sorokin has been published.

      As told RIA Novosti news agency in Corpus publishing house, the scene of the story is laid in “the new Middle Ages” inhabited with centaurs, giants, crusaders and orthodox communists, who are united by the common idea about search for the absolute and God's Kingdom on the earth.

      Vladimir Sorokin is a Russian writer, a screenwriter, a playwright, a bright audacious representative of Conceptualism and Sots Art (short for Socialist Art). His books have been translated into 20 languages. The writer is also the winner of some literary awards, such as The Nose, The Big Book (Bolshaya Kniga) and Andrey Bely Award.
