Starting from 2014 railway tickets for long distant trips within Russia could be acquired at about 30% of Post of Russia offices. In the future the Russian Railways will strike to widen the territory of the service and make all 40 thousand Post of Russia offices to be able to distribute railway tickets, reports www.kp.ru.

The test sales of railway tickets at the Post have been done in North-West Region and the Far East last summer. The service was designed first of all for the small towns where people could be out of railway ticket office and the Internet, but where there is a Post office.
