Big Cartoon Festival to be Held in Moscow

The Big Cartoon Festival - one of the most notable international animation festivals in Russia - will take place in Moscow from October 31 to November 11, 2013.

Viewers of all ages will have an opportunity to watch over 50 original animated film programs, visit a set of informative lectures and even try their wings at creating their own animation. The festival events will be held in 15 venues in Moscow.

One of the central events of the festival will be The Factory of Animated Films: children and their parents will not only learn how animated cartoons are created, but also make animation movies with their own hands.

The festival this year has also prepared a large-scale night program for adults: full-length and short-length animation films and cartoon serials with elements of sensuality, as well as a series of documentary films.
