One can now see graffiti not only in the street, but also in a museum. An exhibition of the Museum Street Art projects has been opened in the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg.
The jury has estimated six projects from four countries. Young architects from Finland have become the winners. Organizers do not make the bones of the fact that they entrusted the young for the reason: after all, graffiti belongs to the NEXT generation.
The curators decided “to ennoble” with graffiti the walls of a laminated plastics plant in the Revolution Highway. Works by graffitists can already be seen there. First drawings have already appeared on the plant outer and inner walls. The museum is planned to be opened in 2015.
