Russian tourists began to prepare for the winter holidays actively: New Year's sales are lively, the agencies note that the demand increases. Thailand and Egypt show the greatest demand.

      All this happens despite the fact that the Russian Foreign Ministry did not cancel its recommendation to refrain from visiting the Land of the Pyramids. Such countries as United Arab Emirates, Dominican Republic and Cuba fall behind them by far. Skiing destinations are also selling well.

      The peak in sales is awaited by the tour operators in the last month of autumn, after the end of the November holidays, the time of the majority of the nearest scheduled trips. An important trend has been also noticed - the depth of sales has decreased in the recent years: only the tours to the most expensive and popular hotels are bought in advance. This may happen due to the fact that the operators require strict guarantees for early bookings, in case of refusal from their trip tourists cannot return a significant part of the tour price. All the same, the operators ask their clients to hurry with their choice: as the New Year draws closer the number of hotel offers will reduce and the prices will go up.
