The Central House of Artist and Russian Avant-Garde of 1910s-30s Gallery open the And Second Wave of the Russian Avant-Garde exhibition on October 29.
Visitors of the exposition prepared by the Russian Avant-Garde of 1910s-30s Gallery will have a chance to see works by artists of the 1950s-70s who continued traditions of the Russian avant-gardists of the early 20th century.
The exhibition will present works by Evgeny Kropivnitsky, the founder of the famous Lianozovo Art Group.
It will also be possible to see avant-garde works by the “secreted” scientist-artist George Lozbekov, who worked all his life in the Military Industrial Complex of Russia on making the nuclear weapon.
Visitors will also see and early graphic art works by Nikolay Dolgorukov, a classic of constructivist poster of the late 1930s.
The exposition will also present classical early works by Anatoly Zverev (whose art is often forged) from the well-known collection of S. Pravovaya with 100% provenance, and a number of works by artists of the Soviet theater.
The exhibition will take place till November 10, 2013.
