This assistance will be rendered to nearly 8,000 people. The Government of the Khabarovsk Territory will help those who suffered from the flood to find jobs. About eight thousand people will get temporary jobs, as the chairman of the Committee on Labor and Employment of the Regional Government Tatyana Vorobyova said. According to her, the Territory prepared a special program in this regard.

746 million roubles have been already allocated for this purpose from the federal budget of the region, as the press centre of the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory quotes the words of Tatiana Vorobyova. This document provides for the creation of temporary jobs. They can be organized by any enterprise which needs workers for recovering after the flood. The teams of temporary workers can be also formed by municipalities. According to the latest data, 175 employers of the region showed up for the program. Companies organizing such jobs or teams will receive about 15 thousand roubles for each worker. 8142 roubles out of this sum is the amount of the minimum wage set in the Khabarovsk Territory. Regional coefficient will also be added to this amount. The authorities will also compensate for the insurance premiums for employees to the companies and add 2500 roubles for the purchase of tools and building materials.

The second direction of the program is the organization of self-employment of the people affected by the flood. That is, the residents of the region will be able to create a small business on favorable conditions and receive a grant in the amount of 100 thousand roubles.
