40 Million Roubles Were Spent in Yakutia for Reliable Power Supply

"Sakhaenergo" company updated the air lines of the four remote northern settlements. JSC "Sakhaenergo" was founded in 2000. It is a 100-percent subsidiary of OJSC "Yakutskenergo". JSC "Sakhaenergo" provides uninterrupted heat and electricity to the cities of 17 districts of Russia with a population of 130 thousand people. The company consists of 124 power plants.

      "Sakhaenergo" company (a subsidiary of "Yakutskenergo", a part of the holding company "RAO Energy Systems of the East") completed the laying of new distribution networks in the four remote settlements of Yakutia. The reconstruction of 0.4 kV air lines 4.5 kilometers long was carried out in the settlement Abyi of Abyisky Ulus, the installation of the new wire 7.4 kilometers long was completed in the settlements Haryialakh and Eyik of Oleneksky Ulus. The largest amount of work was carried out in the settlement of Sangar of Kobyaisky Ulus – the power engineers upgraded the air line 20 kilometers long. New support lines were installed at all sites. The power company spent about 40 million roubles for the modernization of the network system of these settlements. Now people living in remote polar settlements will be securely provided with power supply thanks to the use of the latest technologies.
