Mozart festival in Moscow

A philharmonic festival celebrating the 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will run in Moscow all the January through. The festival is taking place in the Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire and Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
      
      On January 18 the famous chamber orchestra Camerata Saltsburg conducted by Sir Rodger Norrington and the Austrian pianist Stefan Wladar will perform the Interlude from Heblers heroic drama Tamos the King of Egypt, Concert 21 for fortepiano with orchestra and the famous Symphony 40.
      
      Valery Polyanskys Capella will present the Big Mass and Symphony 40 Jupiter in the Big Hall of the Conservatoire on January 26.
      
      Mozarts birthday, January 26 will be marked with the concert by British pianist John Lill and Tchaikovsky Big Symphonic Orchestra to be conducted by Martin Turovsky from Austria.
      
      The only concert in Moscow of the Vienna Boys Choir will take place in Tchaikovsky Concert Hall on January 28.
      
      The famous Mozarts Requiem will be performed by the Chamber ensemble Moscow Soloists headed by Yuri Bashmet.
      The festival will be closed on January 31 by the Moscow Virtuosos Chamber Orchestra this time conducted by Saulyus Sondezkis from Lithuania.
