The Christie's auction house is coming to Moscow to hold an exhibition of works by Russian artists and old masters, who worked before the early 18th century. The exhibition will take place from November 8 to November 10.
Canvasses by Victor Vasnetsov, Konstantin Makovsky, Nikolay Feshin, Alexey Kharlamov, Lucas Cranach der Ältere, Pieter Bruegel de Jonge, Jan Bruegel, and Gustave Courbet will be presented at the exposition. At the end of November and December many of these works will be put up for the Christie's auction in London as a part of the Russian auction (to take place on November 25), and the rest will be sold at an auction in New York in January, 2014.
