A monument to the 18th century Moldova and Russia’s politician and scientist Dmitry Kantemir will be set up in the Tsaritsyno memorial estate.

      It has been reported in the capital construction department today.

      The monument is planned to be set up in the northeastern part of the Tsaritsyno museum reserve at the entrance into it from the Novotsaritsyno Highway.

      The sculpture composition is a bronze statue of Dmitry Kantemir mounted on a marble pedestal. The general height of the monument construction will make almost 5 meters. A memorable granite stone with a bronze plate will accompany the pedestal.

      The project provides arranging a ground and a foot path, hardscaping, architectural lighting and planting of greenery around the monument. The monument is planned to be set up in December this year.
