The ornithological park in the Imereti lowland is almost ready.

      The landscape gardening of the ornithological park in the Imereti lowland is underway. Despite the mass construction of Olympic facilities, the park founders managed to preserve the conditions for migratory birds, including the rare ones.

      The area around the natural lakes with birds` nesting places was enriched with fertile soil, adorned by flower beds and lawns. The role played by the trees and bushes in the landscape gardening project for the ornithological park is not purely decorative. A particular attention is paid to the types of the plants which will serve as nesting places for the birds and as their food. The water for irrigation of the lawns will be taken from the local springs. The lakes are very rich in fish. And a lot of birds will come back here after the end of the whole construction. These are diving ducks, herons and many other.
