A new educational eco-tourist route launched in the Perm Krai.
Tourist trail appeared owing to the "Krasnokamsk: The New Project" program, which made the city winner of "Centers of Culture of the Perm Territory in 2013". The extraordinary route was worked out by residents of Krasnokamsky district, who are concerned about the fact that the marsh, which hides traces of ancient natural phenomena and environmental changes of the Earth, remains outside the tourist trails.
Eco-tourist trail lies across Paltinskoye swamp, starting at bog area and going towards Gorodishche Mountain. The route includes five informative stops which tell about the swamp ecosystem, altitudinal zonation, flora and fauna of Krasnokamsky district.
Pile decks, which protect the soil cover and are convenient for visitors, were applied in trail design. The length of the eco-tourist trail is 12 km, where 1.5 km is the walking section. On the trail there are informational stands, telling about the flora and fauna of the reserve.
