Recently, Krasnodar Tram and Trolleybus Authority (KTTA) have planned to utilize the oldest trolleybus of Krasnodar, manufactured in 1985 on the Uritsky plant in Engels. However, the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Krai (LAK) Alexei Gander suggested not to utilize the trolleybus, but to create on its basis a museum of transport history of the city or to make out of the trolley a new art object.

In October he sent a letter requesting for consideration of his proposal to the administration of Kuban’s capital. And Krasnodar authorities have examined his request. The parliamentarian has published on his page on Facebook social network the reply from city hall signed by Evgeny Pervyshov, the deputy mayor of the Krasnodar Krai capital. The city administration is ready to allocate an area for placing the object of art. It offered to set up the trolleybus next to the trolleybus depot No. 2 in the Seleznyov Street.
