"Warm places" in the beginning and in the end of each pedestrian zone will appear in Moscow this winter.

The Head of the Department of Culture of Moscow Sergei Kapkov said that the "warm places" – the houses where the walking people will be able to get warm – will appear in Moscow by the New Year holidays.

The "warm places" will be situated in the beginning and in the end of each pedestrian zone. These houses will also provide maps of walking routes, events posters and hot drinks. The “heating points” will be open in Stoleshnikov lane, at the Kuznetsky Bridge, on the streets Rozhdestvenka and Nikol`skaya. According to a member of the board of the Guild of Marketers Nicholas Corot, if the "warm spots" will provide Wi-Fi and the ability to charge electronic gadgets, they will become centers of attraction.

The President of the Association of guides -interpreters, tour guides and tour managers Aleksandr Osipov believes that the "warm places" can serve as data centers common for Europe, which will attract more tourists. The maps of the city centre with an indication of objects interest can be easily printed on a sheet of A4 paper in different languages.
