Research report: in Russia smartphone market share exceeded 50% in early November.

      In early November the share of smartphone sales in Russia exceeded 50%, says a new Euroset research. From October 28 to November 3, the figures showed 51%, from November 4 to 10 - 52% and from November 11 to 17 - 54%. In 2012, the share of smartphones in the Russian market was 33%, 35% and 33% respectively. As per Euroset press service it indicates "a breaking point on the mobile retail market in favor of smart phones, and now in terms of devices sold by piece".

      It was reported earlier that for the first time smartphone sales in Russia exceeded sales of regular mobile phones. It happened in the last two weeks of August 2013. It is a matter of gadgets sold by piece, since in monetary terms smartphones excelled the standard cell phones as far back as in 4th quarter of 2011.
