"Krasnaya Sopka" Ski Resort Reconstructions

Construction of a modern building in return of the young skiers school premises burnt off in 2003, launched at "Krasnaya Sopka" ski resort in Kamchatka. The works are planned to be completed by autumn 2014, before the next pre-season training period starts.

      "Now is the time, when we need exactly this kind of resorts. Today’s generation of teens is more and more interested in sports. And it was here, in Krasnaya Sopka, where skiing in Kamchatka was initiated. – said Victor Lopatnikov, coach and instructor at "Krasnaya Sopka" ski resort. – The authorities intend to keep on implementing the program on the development of skiing in Kamchatka. Therefore, without a good resort it will be impossible to use slopes and lifts at their full capacity”.  Metal accessories for resort’s modular rooms have already been delivered to Kamchatka.

      Krasnaya sopka is placed in one part of the town  Petropalovask-Kamchatsk. There are three lifts: two- bugel,one is rope. The trace length is 975m, altitude drops-300m, the topping - 418m. But the most attractive is a view, which you see during the whole descending.
