The military historians will develop patriotic routes across Russia.

      The members of the Russian Military Historical Society are going to offer the professionally prepared military historical and military patriotic routes to tourists.

      "We plan to propel this sector of tourism to the global level, to make it understandable to both business and the consumer» - the executive director of the Russian Military Historical Society Andrei Nazarov said. The Cooperation Agreement between the Russian Military Historical Society and Rosturizm was signed on November 1. Russia hosts approximately 100 military reconstruction events annually, including such large-scale and well-known reconstructions as the Battle of Kulikovo in the modern Tula Oblast, Borodino Battle in Borodino near Moscow, as well as the military-historical festival "Knight's Castle" in Vyborg, Leningrad Oblast.

      The Russian Military Historical Society promotes the study of Russia’s military history to commemorate the fallen, maintain historical monuments and explore ancient battlegrounds, the Kremlin said.
