Ukrainian confectionery manufacturer Roshen will return to Russian market by the end of November, Ukraine’s UNIAN agency reported on Thursday with reference to Sergey Orekhov, the head of State Inspection of Ukraine for Protection of Consumers' Rights.
"Roshen Confectionery Corporation will resume deliveries of its products to the Russian market, suspended for the purpose of quality checks from last summer till December 1 of this year", the report says. Rospotrebnadzor informed on Tuesday that it had agreed with Ukraine on how to resolve the issue with Roshen product’s supplies to the Russian market. The article on Rospotrebnadzor's official website states that parties agreed to hold joint consultations with the Ukrainian colleagues on ensuring quality and safety of the products of Ukrainian confectionery company with business mission of Russian experts to Ukraine. Last July, Rospotrebnadzor banned exports of confectionery produced on Ukraine’s Roshen factories. The federal service had claims to the quality of candies.
