Aura shopping and entertainment center worth about $200 million opened in Yaroslavl on Thursday, becoming city's largest shopping mall.
The area of Aura mall – the first own project of Renaissance Development from in Yaroslavl – is 122 thousand square meters, where 63 thousand square meters are occupied by more than 214 shops and restaurants. The total amount company invested in the project is about $ 200 million, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development provided another $ 130 million. Shopping and entertainment center is located in the historic center of Yaroslavl, in the area protected by UNESCO. According to the managing director of Renaissance Development Elkhan Kerimli, owing to the shopping center's location, various government agencies placed special demands on investor and developer. "Building this center, it was an extremely tough job. But we did it".
Development Group of Renaissance Holding constructed its third shopping center in Russia. While the construction of the new “Aura Shopping Center” was undertaken by Renaissance construction, leasing, marketing and management of the center will be maintained by the German ECE group.
