Former Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov questioning is scheduled on December 3, upcoming Tuesday – this date was agreed with the investigation bodies the day before, lawyer Konstantin Rivkin informed RAPSI last Thursday.
"Really, when we received the court summons on Wednesday, we wrote the petition to reschedule the investigatory actions on Tuesday. Till now we have not received any confirmations about other dates", the lawyer said. He specified that received court summons says at 10:30 a.m. on November 28. By agreement with the staff of the Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Serdyukov accompanied by lawyers will present himself for interrogation on December 3. It was reported earlier that Serdyukov is facing a criminal probe over negligence that caused 56 million rubles damage to the country's budget.
Anatoliy Eduardovich Serdyukov is a Russian politician and businessman who was the defense minister from 15 February 2007 to 6 November 2012.
