In Volgograd Oblast it was decided to develop an unusual type of tourism. Its routes will bring together all the secrets and mysteries attracting visitors from all over the world.

      Just these very urban legends about the places of accumulated cosmic energy will be included in the basis of the new tourism project. It will result in a "mythical" route. To renew existing hiking trails, experts from Volgograd have built other "legendary programs" too. They will lead travelers to the famous Sarai Berke – the ancient city, which was considered the second capital of Golden Horde; to Zimoveyskaya stanitsa, where Stepan Razin and Yemelyan Pugachev were born; to chalky mountains of Pridonye; to the healing lake Elton and to Medveditskaia ridge. Ethnographic sector of Volgograd tourism is also growing fast. Representatives of almost all nationalities who live in Volgograd Oblast and other regions of the country take part in these and other events.
