Soviet Art. Soviet Sport to be Exhibited in London and Moscow

The Soviet Art. Soviet Sport exhibition with works by Aleksandr Deyneka, Alexander Samokhvalov, Yury Pimenov, Georgy Nissky, Nikolay Zagrekov and other Soviet artists, will be held in London and Moscow.

      The exhibition will be open for general public from December 19, 2013 to January 14, 2014 in the London building of the Sotheby's auction house. About 40 works of Soviet painting, graphic art and sculptures from collections of the Institute of the Russian Realistic Art (IRRA) and other private collections will be presented there.

      In Moscow the exhibition will take place in the Institute of the Russian Realistic Art from February 5 till May, 2014.

      The Institute of the Russian Realistic Art (IRRA) is a private museum working since December, 2011. It focuses on painting of the Russian realistic school of the 20th century. Visitors can see about 500 works of the Russian and Soviet art on three floors of its exhibition.
