Boeing Strength Test

The Boeing 787 will be subject to the strength test by the Yakut frost. The representatives of the Boeing Company are in Yakutsk now. They arrived there in order to discuss technical and organizational issues relating to the conduction of planes practical tests at low temperatures.

      Thus, the agreement was reached that the most popular in the world narrow-body jet airliner Boeing 737 and the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner - the twin-engine wide-body jet airliner – both will be subject to the cold test at the international “Yakutsk” airport. The practical works for the conduction of the Boeing 737 low-temperature test are scheduled for the second half of January of the next year, and the same concerning the Boeing 787 Dreamliner - for early February.

      It is expected that the test trials will be conducted during five working days. 20 company representatives will arrive in Yakutsk especially for conducting the test for the Boeing 737. It is noteworthy that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be tested by three times as much specialists and more than 60 representatives of the Boeing Company, one of the world's largest manufacturers of aviation, aerospace and military equipment.
