Russian Union of Tourism Industry: the Far East tour operators resume flights to Manila.
The Far East tour operators confirmed their plans to resume flights to Manila. “We are glad that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs changed its recommendations. We continue to sell tours and renew our chain” - the representative of the “Biletur” company Nadezhda Mehdieva said.
In turn, Valentina Barinova from the “Aviacharter–DV” company reported that the flights to the capital of the Philippines from Vladivostok and Khabarovsk will resume on December, 29.
Five flights to Manila of the above-mentioned tour operators were canceled in December - four of them from Vladivostok and one from Khabarovsk. Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia had allowed its citizens to travel to the Philippines. Currently MFA recommends refraining from traveling only to the most damaged regions of the Philippines, including the islands of Leyte and Eastern Samar.
