Russia football team manager Fabio Capello has remained high at the top of the pay league, says the Daily Mail.
Published by Sporting Intelligence, the figures reveal he’s in fifth place pocketing an estimated £6.51 million, just behind Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho (£8.34 million, Chelsea), Arsene Wenger (Arsenal, £6.89 million), Marcelo Lippi (£8.34 million, Guangzhou).
Fabio Capello has been instrumental in getting Russia to its first World Cup since 2002.
Another highly-paid coach in the Russian football is also an Italian. Luciano Spalletti earns £2.75 for coaching Zenit St. Petersburg.
