Works by Banksy to Be Exhibited in Moscow

The exposition Banksy. Retrospective will be displayed in the Manege exhibition hall in September, 2014.

The exhibition of Banksy’s art will run in Moscow from September 25 to October 19.

The exposition will include his works made in different techniques. The Moscow audience will see paintings, sculptures, graffiti, collages, and videos created by Banksy. Altogether, about 130 works will be presented in Manege. The exposition will be based on those Banksy’s works, which are owned by his former producer Steve Lazarides.

The exhibition will also present the artist’s works that are kept in private collections. Some of these works belong to Hollywood stars. The curators plan to have them as guests of honour in Moscow and introduce the artist’s works here.

The last “exhibition” of Banksy’s works took place in New York in October, 2013: over the course of a month the artist was drawing graffiti in the city streets. All New York works are now presented in his instagram.
