Mikhail Kalashnikov’s Office to Turn into Museum

The management of Kalashnikov Concern plans to found the Kalashnikov Museum in the former office of the glorified armorer.

      The director general of the enterprise Konstantin Busygin has reported about it.

      The memory of Mikhail Kalashnikov, who passed away a day before, will be eternalized in a monument, a memorial board, or the honor avenue.

      At presently the Kalashnikov armour plant administration is considering the possibility of establishing Kalashnikov Award to the best workers and the best subdivisions of the enterprise based in Izhevsk.

      It is a reminder, Mikhail Kalashnikov died, aged 94, after a long illness. Before his death the legendary armorer was kept in resuscitation department. It has not yet been finalized, what exactly caused the death of the founder of the well-known machine gun.
