An extensive collection of Christmas tree decorations of the Soviet period can be seen in Moscow.
The Soviet Decorations exhibition has been opened in the Muzeon Park in Krymsky Val.
The exposition presents outstanding samples of Soviet Christmas tree decorations, the Interfax reports. Visitors will be able to see glass vegetables and fruits, clocks, spaceships and submarines familiar since childhood. Some of the exhibits are dedicated to the subject of progressive household in the USSR: the visitors will see figurines of workers of different nationalities, athletes, and even toys depicting factories and plants.
The exhibition will run till February 2, 2014. The admission is free.
