Tsar Berendey wished Belarusian Dzed Maroz a happy New Year.

      On 13-15 December 2013 Tsar Berendey of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Oblast sent his greetings to his Belarusian colleague on the occasion of 10th anniversary of the manor of Dzed Maroz in Białowieża Forest.

      Among principal guests of the celebration were different fairytale delegations – Russian Ded Moroz of Veliky Ustyug, Tsar Berendey of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Kysh Babai of Tatarstan, Ilya Muromets of Vladimir Oblast, Karelian “Frosty” Pakkajne of Karelia, Zyuzya of Poozyorye, Bolotnik of Berezinsky Reserve and World Cossack Ded Moroz of Gatchina.

      The birthday of the highest in Europe live spruce, which grows on the territory of the manor, was celebrated on December 13, 2013. 40-meter tall evergreen beauty became 150 years old this year. Guests brought some gifts for the green beauty. Also, on this day there were the openings of Mother Winter's workshop and the Museum of Ice Life. Pageant and awarding ceremony of the winners of the best fairy tale and the best gift for Ded Moroz contests took place on the first day of the festival.
