Russia's first snowmobile trail may appear in Sverdlovsk Oblast.
The programs of snowmobile tourism in the Urals were presented in the Tourism Development Center of Sverdlovsk Oblast. One of the winter tourism activists suggested the project of a snowmobile trail.
According to him, snowmobile journeys are becoming more popular among both trained tourists accomplishing extreme multi-day expeditions and less experienced travelers, who prefer joining two-day tours of medium difficulty. The lovers of active rest in Ural Mountains can accomplish snowmobile expeditions to Dyatlov Pass, visit Manpupuner Plateau, Sablya and Manaraga mountains, Konzhakovsky Rock and other natural attractions of the Middle and Northern Urals. The new trail could connect Sverdlovsk Oblast with Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous okrugs and access the Arctic Ocean. Rest areas, gas stations and overnight camps could be arranged along its length. So far, extreme lovers from Ural have laid the first stage of the trail (700 km), which passes through the Sverdlovsk Oblast.
Experience crisp cold air, sparkling snow, and lengthy well-groomed trails winding through winter woods lends to a perfect tour of snowmobiling trails. Enjoy the spectacular scenery, new trails and welcoming accommodations throughout the rolling hills and countryside. There are many snowmobiling ideas for families.
The tours will be carefully designed to suit every skill and ambition level. They range from easy terrain, where kids ride free, to 1st class riding and dining tours and full-day backcountry expeditions. All tours begin with a complete snowmobile riding and safety lesson. Advanced tips and coaching available for experienced riders.
