The Lost Dreams ballet based on Balzac’s play showed for the first time to Parisians received a great ten-minute ovation.
Modern choreography has become true surprise for the French. Some of them have been fascinated, some of them have been surprised; however, the ballet authors are sure: they can make the present generation of the audience interested in this way only, by introducing new things into the classical school of traditional ballet.
Among the dancers of the Bolshoi Theatre the staging features invited stars as well, for example the Mariinsky Theater prima Diana Vishneva.
“It is always a historical moment, because you know the traditions and what ballerinas danced here. These are miraculous and wonder-working stages, just like those of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres”, Diana Vishneva emphasizes.
The Lost Dreams will be shown in Paris for five more times till January 10, however all the tickets have been sold out.
