The ski season opened on the slopes of Krasnaya Polyana near Sochi. In honor of this event the festive entertainment was organized at Rosa Khutor Resort all day long.

      Hundreds of ski enthusiasts, who came to the resort, were not disappointed, as on the upper cableway stations the snow depth exceeded one meter. “The length of the ski trails in Rosa Khutor reached 77 km. There are presented both, trails suitable to train kids skiing, and most difficult Olympic trails, which require skill and serious athletic training,” resort's information center noted and promised that in time the length of the trails will increase to 100 km.
